CG Engineering was retained by the Tulalip Tribes of Washington to design the foundation and internal support structure for two 12ft tall story poles.  A below-grade footing and concrete pedestal were designed to support the story poles. An internal steel support was also designed to attach the story poles to the concrete base.  We worked closely with the artist to provide support that worked with the unique characteristics of the wood and was not visible after installation.
