CG Engineering provided structural and civil engineering services for a custom single-family residence on a challenging sloped site in Shoreline, Washington. The home is designed as a single-story structure with a daylight basement, carefully integrated into the hillside to maximize livability while responding to site constraints. The project replaces an existing residence.

Our team developed a comprehensive structural system tailored to difficult soil conditions, including pile-supported foundations, retaining walls, and slope stabilization measures to ensure long-term performance. In parallel, our civil design addressed site access, utility coordination, and stormwater management.
