CG Engineering provided structural engineering to convert classroom space into a kitchen and add a new loading dock at a middle school built in 1948 and renovated in 1979. CG obtained original drawings of the school and provided a structural conceptual design for the improvements. Our engineer visited the site to verify as-built conditions and also performed an analysis of the building to determine if the existing lateral or gravity systems would need to be upgraded per IEBC code.
