CG Engineering provided structural design services for a decant facility for the City of Mountlake Terrace Public Works Department as a sub-consultant of Perteet Engineering. The facility included a metal building structure over the dewatering area and several outdoor storage bin areas. The dewatering area consisted of a sloped slab-on-grade drop area with a concrete trough at the bottom that leads to a catch basin. Our design included the metal building foundation and anchorage, as well as cast-in-place site retaining walls at the storage areas. We provided construction drawings, calculations, and cost estimates as part of our scope of work.
