Tube steel strongbacks

CG Engineering provided the structural engineering design for the remodel of the sales/showroom building and service building at Blade Chevrolet Dealership. For the showroom, we designed a new entry element and a 615 sq. ft. addition to the second floor. Some of the interior bearing walls were reconfigured to accommodate the new addition. For the service building, we designed new tube steel strongbacks to support existing concrete walls with two new openings, as well as a reconfigured second floor, which was removed and replaced.
