CG Engineering provided structural engineering services for this mixed-use multi-family project located in Snohomish, WA. The building is 5-stories tall with nearly 60,000 square feet of building space. The building features commercial space, self-storage units, and residential units ranging from studios to 2-bedroom apartments. The building itself consists of four levels of wood framing over one level of concrete framing. Level 2 consists of a post-tensioned concrete slab supported on concrete stem walls around the perimeter and concrete columns at the interior. Steel beams and columns were used above the second floor commercial space to support the floors above. Structural engineering services included engineered drawings, structural calculations, and support through the construction process.
