CG Engineering provided civil engineering services for a five-building congregate housing development on a 1.32 acre lot located on Vashon Island in unincorporated King County. The development features an internal walkway system, a dual-entry parking area, and a central community garden for residents to use. CG’s civil engineering team designed the parking area and access, the water and sewer system for the property, as well as the storm drainage. In addition to King County approval, CG helped get approval from Vashon Sewer District, Water District #19, and the Washington State Department of Ecology.
