CG Engineering provided structural design services for a major residential remodel and vertical expansion, transforming an existing home with the addition of three new levels. The design builds on the existing foundation and basement walls, maximizing the use of the current structure while significantly increasing livable space.

Our team developed a coordinated wood-framed structural system and performed detailed analysis of the existing foundation and retaining walls to support the new loads. We also collaborated closely with the project architect to refine the upper-level layout, including an expanded floor framing deck aligned with the sunroom, and delivered updated drawings and calculations to support a streamlined permit process.
