CG Engineering provided structural and civil engineering services for a property that needed to replace a bridge over Swamp Creek to access their existing residence. CG provided the temporary shoring required for the existing bridge until the new bridge could be permitted and installed. CG Engineering provided the permitting management with Snohomish County and the Tribes for the bridge replacement. The bridge needed 4 feet of clearance from Swamp Creek to meet fish passage requirements and the bridge abutments required pile-supported concrete foundations. The width of the new bridge needed to be widened to 16 feet to meet the fire access requirements. New drainage systems were designed to handle off-site street drainage impacts.
