CG Engineering provided structural engineering design for the an addition to an existing single family home. The project involved adding a second story to a single-story home and remodeling the main floor of the home. As part of the remodel, the living room was opened to the new second floor, which was framed with curved beams. CG provided designs for the new elements and upgrades to existing walls and foundation elements to accommodate the addition.
