Space Needle Catwalk

CG Engineering provided structural engineering to support the installation of a new mechanical access catwalk at the service level of the Space Needle. The new catwalk extends around the perimeter of the Space Needle and extends to an access hatch. Calculations for the catwalk had been previously completed by another engineer. CG Engineering reviewed shop drawings and calculations to ensure they complied with Seattle Building Code and OSHA. We also provided construction services to support the project throughout construction.
