CG Engineering provided structural engineering for the replacement of an existing fluid cooler with a more energy efficient model for the Highline School District. The existing cooler was mounted slab-on-grade, and the new cooler was to be located above the roof of the building. CG provided structural design and drawings to support the 8’x10′ 15,000 lb. unit on a steel platform attached to steel columns extending through the roof and anchored to the foundation. We worked closely with the design team to achieve the most cost-effective solution.
