CG Engineering is a civil and structural engineering company providing design and consulting services for architects, owners and developers. Our firm strives for excellence in both design and state-of-the-art engineering technology. Responsive project management, excellent quality control and a commitment to our client’s schedule helps us to meet the project goal. Our objectives seek to ensure a cost effective, constructible design and continual focus on design goals.

Structural engineering design consists of office and retail buildings; industrial buildings, churches and schools; single family residences; and multifamily including townhomes, apartments and senior housing. Public works experience has involved bridges, pipeline upgrades, culverts, sanitary sewer replacement, pier renovations, seismic studies and more. We have experience in the telecommunication industry, providing design of data centers, central offices and wireless installations.

Our civil engineering design consists of governmental, private and commercial development, including but not limited to, site development, short plats, subdivisions, drainage systems, street improvements and other associated tasks. We offer over 30+ years of experience working with city, county and state agencies.

Our firm is licensed in nine Western states. CG Engineering is comprised of experienced structural and civil engineers, designers, AutoCAD drafters and office support staff.

Chevy Chase attended WSU and finished his undergraduate education at Oregon State University with a BSCE. He also attended Graduate Studies in Structural Mechanics at the University of Washington. He has over 25 years of engineering experience including design as well as multi-discipline project management. His background includes structural design for new and renovated buildings incorporating steel, masonry, timber and concrete. He is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Washington and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Chevy has chaired the SEAW Refresher Course for the past 4 years.

 

Greg Guillen, a graduate of the University of Washington, brings over 25 years of diverse structural engineering and project management experience. He has extensive experience in renovations and seismic upgrades for numerous buildings and other structures. Greg also provides project management of civil site development for commercial, residential, and municipal projects. He is a current member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and served as chairperson of the committee on Professional Registration from 1990-1994.
